Educational Accompaniment

Three unique routes to discover the thousand-year history of Vulci, from the etruscan-roman city to the monumental necropolises and the fascinating etruscan museum.

Educational accompaniment at the park (excavations of the etruscan-roman city)

A guided tour to discover the remains of the etruscan-roman city. Meeting at the Meeting Point (Park ticket office). After a brief presentation of the itinerary, visitors follow a short path that climbs to the top of the plateau where the etruscan-roman city developed in ancient times. You enter the etruscan city through the West Gate and, walking on the roman paving stones, reach the Great temple and the nearby Brick Buildings and Apsidal Building. The tour continues with a visit to the evocative Domus of the Cryptoporticus, descending into the underground areas of the roman-era residence, and then reaches the Mithraeum. Following the northern section of the Cardo, you reach the North Gate, and then follow the path that enters the denser vegetation until reaching the shores of Pellicone Lake. Return to the Meeting Point.
