A thrilling 7 km route to discover enchanting corners of the park, along the course of the Fiora river, among breathtaking nature and important archaeological remains. Trekking shoes, a hat and… a change of clothes are required!

Vases and ceramic containers are objects that humans have used since the earliest times, but their shape and decoration differ depending on the period to which they belong. To make it easier to learn about the function and production techniques of the various ceramic forms used by the ancients, the children will create some of the most important vessel shapes using the ancient coil technique.

To become true “men of Prehistory”, children will have to overcome challenging trials that retrace the most important stages in the evolution of Man. Through play, the information read in books will take on new meanings and Prehistory will no longer hold any secrets!

A magic box and the stories of the animals of the woods will accompany the children along a nature route that will lead them to Pelicone Lake. During the walk, the children will collect leaves and natural elements with which they will create a wonderful poster for the school, illustrating the stories they have heard. (Suggested for Primary school, first cycle)

The children will pretend to be hunters and gatherers of aromatic herbs, and will prepare a banquet: after smelling and tasting the herbs collected in the woods, the young guests will cook foods and drinks from times gone by, following the instructions of ancient recipes.
